Advertising agencies and successful
companies will tell you that image is everything.
Yet, although image does play a very important
part, it’s
definitely not everything.
In my past ten years of service
as an advertising agency, I have found that image
does get the attention of the viewer, but it
is the content of the message that clarifies
the deal and keeps customers coming back. Honest,
clever concepts treat the potential buyer or
client like a real person that can make a good
decision, not like fool where deception can win
him over. Today’s repeat buyer makes a
more thoughtful purchase; so good information
plays an important role.
I have found that getting to know
the people and the product help me to determine
the campaign strategy. That way, the character
of the company or organization is combined when
communicating the product or service and clarifies
the branding as a whole.
Television programs are no different
that commercial advertisements -- it’s all in how you treat
the viewer. Good content displayed in a clever
concept brings the viewer back again and again.
So my conclusion in the broadcast arena, as well
as film, is to provide the right image for the
designated audience, then add good content or “story
line” for long-term clientele.
In my travels across the states
and to 15 different countries, I have been fortunate
to provide interviews from the President of the
United States to children with AIDS in Romania,
by serving as many as 50 non-profit organizations
to 100’s of companies
and corporations with my services. I feel the Lord
has blessed me to meet so many people and to see
an increase in revenues for so many of their businesses
or to tell their story.
This is only the beginning!
